The sweet pairing of pear nectar and lavender makes this Airlie Garden Martini perfect for every garden party!

The Airlie Gardens Martini: A Pear and Lavender Cocktail

It’s a Garden Cocktail Party

This Airlie Gardens Martini is a sweet pairing of pear-citrus juice, lavender honey syrup, and Martin Miller’s gin that is perfect for every garden party!

This Airlie Gardens Martini is a sweet pairing of pear-citrus juice, lavender honey syrup, and gin that is perfect for every garden party!

The Azalea Festival is upon us again here in the Port City, and we have a lovely new addition to our list of cocktails for Azalea Fest: The Airlie Gardens Martini.

If you’ve never been to Airlie Gardens, we highly suggest you take a visit. This garden showcases seasonal blossoms, historic and modern sculptures, hosts a summer concert series, and has the most enchanting Christmas light display in the county.

This cocktail takes all the elegance of Airlie and blends it into a delicious pear and lavender gin martini that is perfect for a garden party.

Now if you’re a diehard member of Team Vodka Martini, this martini might not be for you, since the main spirit is gin. Unfortunately, the vodka version just doesn’t have the same mouthfeel or caliber of flavor of its gin counterpart.

But don’t worry Team Vodka Martini, we have quite a few vodka martinis on our blog to satisfy your martini preferences.

Pear juice is by far the most luscious juice I’ve ever had. I have been blown away by the pear cocktails I’ve had in the past few months. Seriously, go try the Pear Necessities cocktail at the Blind Elephant, it is phenomenal.

These cocktails served as an inspiration for the Airlie Gardens Martini. I wanted to create a pear-citrus martini that blended a floral note to it. That is where the lavender came in.

The gorgeous purple hue of the lavender garnish and simple sweetness of lavender honey syrup gives this martini the sophistication you’d want from a garden party cocktail.

This is how you make an Airlie Gardens Martini!

Airlie Gardens Martini

Yields: 1 Serving
Ingredients You’ll Need:

  • 2 Ounces Martin Miller’s Gin

  • Cocktail Glass
  • Cocktail Shaker

Airlie Gardens Martini: Add Martin Miller’s gin, pear juice, grapefruit juice, and lavender honey syrup to cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well until completely chilled. Pour into a chilled cocktail glass, and garnish with lavender. Enjoy!
