Let’s say “Ваше здоровье” to this Drink of the Week!
Today is National Tater day, so why not celebrate it with some Vodka in this drink of the week: The Moscow Mule. “Ваше здоровье”, pronounced vashee zda-ró-vye, is a Russian toast meaning, “To Your Health.” Did you know the Moscow Mule put Smirnoff Vodka on the map? Today it’s the largest Vodka brand in the world, was once the go to brand to make the Moscow Mule. The Moscow Mule, also known as a Vodka Buck, is traditionally served in a copper cup, but any glass will do if you don’t have one. You can also use flavored vodka to change up the recipe, but we’ll stick to the classic recipe for now. Raise your designated drink of the week glasses and enjoy a Moscow Mule today!
- 2 Ounces Vodka
- 1/2 Ounce Lime Juice
- 5 Ounces Ginger Beer
- Mint Sprig & Lime Wedge for Garnish
- Copper Mug
Place your copper mug in the freezer for a few minutes, to make the glass icy cold. Fill glass with ice to desired amount. Pour in Vodka, Lime Juice and Ginger Beer, and stir. Garnish the cocktail with a sprig of mint and lime wedge. Enjoy!
