Irish Eyes will be smiling alright
Pass on the green beer and mix yourself up this Shamrock Sour cocktail for Saint Patrick’s day instead!
Lá fhéile Pádraig sona dhaoibh! That means Happy Saint Patrick’s Day to you all! Pass on the green beer today and mix yourself up this Drink of the Week: the Shamrock Sour.
The name Shamrock comes from the Irish word Seamróg, which sounds twice as nice in the native tongue. The Shamrock Sour is a fun take on the traditional Whiskey Sour, for your Saint Patrick’s day parties.
Tonight enjoy some craic agus ceol, that’s Irish for fun and music, with friends and family. From all of us to you, have a blessed Saint Patrick’s Day!

On the Rocks: Fill glass with ice to desired point. Combine whiskey, lime and lemon juice, and simple syrup in a shaker. Add a drop of green food coloring to mixture. If your food coloring does not have a dropper, you can use a tooth pick or stirrer to stir in the food coloring. Shake well. Strain over ice, and garnish with lime wedge. Sláinte!
